Ingredients
- 5 dl milk
- 5 tsp dry yeast (50g fresh yeast)
- 1.5 dl sugar
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground cardamom
- 15 dl flour
- 125 g unsalted butter
For filling
- butter
- ground cardamom
- sugar
- 1 egg
- pearl sugar
Directions
- Heat up the milk to 37C. Pour it in a bowl with the dry yeast, let sit for 10 min.
- Then add sugar, salt, cardamom and mix together.
- Add most of the flour and the butter. Mix together to a smooth dough, work it for about 10 min.
- Let it rise for minimum 30 min.
- Roll out part of the dough to a thin layer, add butter, sprinkle sugar and cardamom on top and roll it ut. Cut out 3 cm pieces and put them to rise for another 30min.
- Turn oven to 250C (482F)
- cover with egg and pearl sugar and bake in oven for 8-10min.
