Ingredients

  • 5 dl milk
  • 5 tsp dry yeast (50g fresh yeast)
  • 1.5 dl sugar
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground cardamom
  • 15 dl flour
  • 125 g unsalted butter

For filling

  • butter
  • ground cardamom
  • sugar
  • 1 egg
  • pearl sugar

Directions

  1. Heat up the milk to 37C. Pour it in a bowl with the dry yeast, let sit for 10 min.
  2. Then add sugar, salt, cardamom and mix together.
  3. Add most of the flour and the butter. Mix together to a smooth dough, work it for about 10 min.
  4. Let it rise for minimum 30 min.
  5. Roll out part of the dough to a thin layer, add butter, sprinkle sugar and cardamom on top and roll it ut. Cut out 3 cm pieces and put them to rise for another 30min.
  6. Turn oven to 250C (482F)
  7. cover with egg and pearl sugar and bake in oven for 8-10min.
